Blaze damages construction training site

Headlines NewsSept. 7, 2016, Laval, Que. - A fire damaged the main building of the Centre de formation Le Chantier in Laval Tuesday. There were no injuries.
The fire appears to have originated in a garbage container, then spread to the building on Industrial Blvd. in the Sainte-Rose district. The area was evacuated of staff members and students.
Le Chantier teaches trades in the construction industry and is associated with the Commission scolaire de Laval.
