Blaze tears through home under renovation

Mar. 17, 2017, Saanich, B.C. - A single-family home in Saanich sustained significant fire and smoke damage on Wednesday. Saanich firefighters responded to a 911 call about 6:45 p.m. The fire was quickly knocked down, said Capt. James Crighton. Structural damage was estimated at $200,000.
