Caledon two-hatters prepare for union trial

May 2, 2017, Caledon, Ont. - Six firefighters who have been charged by their full-time union for volunteering in Caledon will go before a tribunal of their peers on May 15. Speaking for the group of local volunteer firefighters facing charges, Mandy Gould, a full-time Brampton firefighter who also volunteers at the Inglewood fire hall, said it’s an uneasy feeling going in, now that they have watched their peers in Mississauga be charged, convicted and punished for an activity they believe in.
