
Can-Am Police-Fire Games kick off July 15

Headlines News Hot TopicsJune 17, 2024, Zelienople, Pa. — The 2024 Can-Am Police-Fire Games, this year hosted in venues across Butler County, Pa., will run from July 15 to 21. The registration deadline for the games is Monday, June 24.
The biennial, multi-sport, Olympic-style event stages competitions that feature skills used by first responders.
Events in this year’s games include hockey, swimming, golf, pistol, skeet and trap shooting, powerlifting, and toughest firefighter and toughest competitor alive competitions.
“We invite all active and retired law enforcement, firefighters, EMS, and corrections personnel, along with family members 18 years and older, to register and participate in July’s Can-Am Police-Fire Games,” said Michael T. Slupe, chairman and CEO of the games and sheriff of Butler County.
Net proceeds of the event will benefit Special Olympics Pennsylvania.
