Council approves pay raise for Fort Saskatchewan firefighters

June 20, 2019, Fort Saskatchewan, Alta. – Fort Saskatchewan council unanimously approved a staff compensation policy and procedure for fire services on Tuesday, June 11. The new policy will provide a raise of $14.70 per hour bringing the new rate of pay to $43.13, an increase from the $28.43 per hour that the members were receiving.
