Court date set for firefighters facing arson charges

Dec. 15, 2016, Sydney, N.S. - The plea date for the volunteer firefighters accused of committing arson on Cape Breton has been set back to the spring. Stephen Eric Tremblett, 50, and James Clayton MacDonald, 24, are scheduled to return to Sydney court March 15, 2017 to choose a trial method or enter a plea on charges that they set a string of building fires in the Florence area over several months earlier this year.
