The Northeastern Fire Education Conference and Trade Show, otherwise known as NEFEC, provides one of the most affordable educational and networking opportunities for senior fire officers, company officers, firefighters, and elected municipal officials in northeastern Ontario.

Over the course of three days, attendees hear from informative and engaging speakers who will be presenting on interesting and relevant topics for today’s fire service. The conference agenda includes professional and leadership development, new technologies and science in the fire service, relevant and up-to-date topics concerning firefighter health and safety, public education, fire prevention, and team building activities. On Sunday, attendees get to choose which workshop they want to participate in, with each workshop covering various topics in the fire service thus allowing each attendee a personalized professional development opportunity.

The agenda focuses on pertinent information for all levels of fire personnel and municipal officials in both composite and volunteer fire departments, and municipalities.
