March 15, 2018, Fort Erie, Ont. - Police detectives in Fort Erie, Ont., are working a theft case after an important piece of life-saving equipment was stolen from the local fire department. Thieves made off with the Fort Erie Fire Department’s extrication cutter, a tool used to tear through wreckage and rescue people trapped under rubble or mangled cars.
