Fatal training exercise trial adjourned to February 14

Feb. 1, 2018, Hanover, Ont. - After a brief initial court appearance on Jan. 24, Terry Harrison is scheduled to return to the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton on Feb. 14.

Harrison, owner of Herschel Rescue Training Systems, is charged with criminal negligence causing death. The Crown attorney is assuming carriage of the charge brought privately against Harrison, who was the instructor conducting swift, cold-water rescue training during which a man died nearly three years ago.
