Fire at New Waterford seniors complex leaves one person dead

April 1, 2020, New Waterford, N.S. – A woman has died after a single-unit fire at a seniors apartment complex in Cape Breton early Sunday morning. The woman, who lives in New Waterford, didn’t reside at the Curran Court complex where the fire happened.
