Fire destroys business south of Nipawin, Sask.

July 28, 2022, Nipawin, Sask. – A shop that has been a staple of the business community south of Nipawin for 30 years is no more after a fire on the weekend. Nipawin fire chief, Paul Cockell, said they got the call Saturday afternoon there was a shop on fire next to Highway 35 in the village of Codette, just south of town which relies on Nipawin for fire services.
