Nov. 5, 2019, St-Sauveur, Que. – Two restaurants in the Laurentian town of St-Sauveur were destroyed by fire early Monday.Steak Frites St-Paul and an outlet of Amir were severely damaged after a fire broke out at 1 a.m. in the basement of the De la Gare St. building housing both establishments.
The cause of the fire, which did not spread to neighbouring buildings, appears to have been accidental and there were no injuries reported.
Dozens of firefighters from three municipalities were called in to battle the blaze.
