Firefighters contain brush fire near Sooke, B.C.

June 20, 2019, Sooke, B.C. – Sooke’s fire chief says he is concerned high winds will stoke a brush fire smouldering west of town. Shortly after 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, crews were called to the area for reports of a wildfire.
