Firefighters gain upper hand in Fort McMurray

Headlines NewsMay 11, 2016, Fort McMurray, Alta. - Firefighters are starting to believe they have the upper hand against the 229,000-hectare wildfire near at Fort McMurray, Alta., that has forced tens of thousands of people out of their homes.
“We think we got this thing beat in McMurray,” said Darby Allen, fire chief for the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo.
