Firefighters top list of Canada’s most respected professions

July 7, 2021, Canada — A recent survey put firefighters right at the top of Canada’s most respected professions.

The survey was released by Maru Public Opinion on behalf of Canada’s Most Respected Award Program.

Firefighters scored ninety-two point five out of one hundred in the nationally representative poll, followed by nurses, farmers and medical doctors as the most respected jobs.

Owners of social media platforms ranked last in the survey, slightly below car salespeople.
