First Nation fire claims lives of several family members

Headlines NewsDec. 15, 2016, Oneida Nation of the Thames, Ont. - The chief of a southern Ontario First Nation says several members of a family are presumed dead in a fire that destroyed their home.
Chief Randall Phillips of the Oneida Nation of the Thames, located 25 kilometres southwest of London, Ont., says flames engulfed the residence around 11 a.m. on Wednesday.
A local police chief says the bodies of an adult and a child have been located in the burnt-out home so far.
Officials have not said how many people were unaccounted for.
