Four-alarm fire damages multiple Toronto homes

July 6, 2017, Toronto - At least five row houses in Toronto's west end suffered significant damage after a four-alarm fire tore through the properties Wednesday evening, Toronto Fire says. Nearby homes were evacuated after the blaze broke out shortly after 5 p.m. The fire was contained shortly thereafter, but firefighters continued to douse active flames and other hotspots hours later, Deputy Fire Chief Stephan Powell told CBC News around 10 p.m. CBC News reports. | READ MORE
