Jeremy Inglis appointed deputy fire chief for Oakville Fire Department

July 10, 2024, Oakville, Ont. — Oakville Fire department in Ontario has hired Jeremy Inglis as their deputy fire chief of training and support services.

Inglis has 16 years of experience in the fire service, most recently acting as deputy fire chief with Central York Fire Services.

He has additionally worked with a number of municipal and regional governments, including Hamilton, Niagara Falls and Fort Erie, as well as serving as an executive with the Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs for the past four years.

His responsibilities will include leading the training and development practice, dispatch communications, fleet maintenance, and developing and delivering departmental policies and programs including training operations, information technology, financial matters, and employee relations, the city said in a press release.
