Kamloops hires new fire chief

April 26, 2017, Kamloops, B.C. - The City of Kamloops has officially hired its new fire chief. Mike Adams, acting fire chief since Dale McLean retired at the end of last year, will take over the position permanently. Adams served as Kamloops’ deputy fire chief and assistant chief since 2011. Before working in Kamloops, Adams served as deputy fire chief in Squamish, B.C. from 2009 to 2011 and served in North Vancouver for 20 years prior to 2009. Kamloops This Week reports. | READ MORE
