Lightning sparks eight fires in B.C. Interior

May 31, 2019, Kamloops, B.C. – Eight fires have been sparked by a lightning storm that rolled through B.C.’s Interior Thursday afternoon, and more could be on the way. Fire information officer Taylor MacDonald says the fires have been sparked throughout the Kamloops Fire Centre, including four in the Savona area, two near Princeton, one near Lillooet and one near Clearwater.
