Local soccer club gets third defibrillator from Comox Firefighters Association

Apr. 15, 2023, Comox Valley, B.C. – A soccer club in the Comox Valley is getting a helping hand with safety, through a new defibrillator from the Comox Firefighters Association. The Comox Valley Master Soccer Club got it’s third defibrillator through partnering with the association, with the plan to have them on hand for the club’s games and practices. The donation comes following studies showing 30 to 50 per cent of sudden cardiac arrest victims would likely survive if CPR and defibrillators were used within five minutes of collapse. | READ MORE
