St. Albert fire department appoints acting chief

Feb. 5, 2021, St. Albert, Alta. – St. Albert appointed an acting fire chief from among its top brass on Wednesday and the employment status of its top chief is unknown. Kerry Hilts, the city’s deputy chief administrative officer, wrote in an email obtained by Postmedia, that deputy chief Scott Wilde has taken on the role during a “temporary transition period in fire leadership” over the coming weeks.
