St. John’s crews tackle blaze at metal recycling facility

Aug. 18, 2020, St. John’s – Firefighters were called to a large fire at a metal recycling facility in St. John’s Monday afternoon. The blaze started at about 1:30 p.m. when a scrap vehicle caught fire near a mound of other vehicles being recycled and the blaze spread quickly from there.
