Suspicious packages not hazardous: fire department

Mar. 28, 2017, Saskatoon - The Saskatoon Fire Department says the second of two suspicious packages delivered in the city Monday is also not hazardous. The package contained what police said appeared to be a white, powdery substance and sent emergency crews and a hazardous materials team to the Saskatoon Cancer Centre at about 12:40 p.m. It was deemed not dangerous after testing, the fire department tweeted hours later.
