TOA Canada’s product development team perceived a need in the market for their intercom users; no longer was it ideal to sit at a desk to monitor vast areas of a building.
“This new application will offer the ability to be in any part of a facility and have eyes on all access points using our N-SP80 system,” said Ibrahim Chehade, lead developer at TOA Canada. “Features such as remote door unlocking and audio and video calling, permit users to easily take action straight from their phone.”
The Intuitive UI is simple to use and delivers a one-screen option to see all features at a glance. The icons and spacious layout produce a soft comfortable feel for the app. The N-SP80 offers exceptional sound and video quality using HD technology and sound algorithms like echo cancellation. When offline set your mobile phone to continue to receive push notifications, so you don’t miss an important message. It was central to the development of this app that it be compatible with various brands of SIP PBX, including Asterisk, Cisco, Vodia and others.
“Integrators and End Users need to be aware of how easily compatible our system is with other brands, it should not be a deterrent when looking to by our N-SP80 intercom system,” said Rico Lucia, director of TOA Canada.
Additionally, the system boasts the ability to message; access the log and real-time monitoring. TOA Canada continues to invest in their relatively new SIP intercom system and demonstrate to the market that with its high quality, durability and ease of use, the N-SP80 should be a frontrunner for all intercom projects. The combination of the intercom system with the new application improves TOA’s intercom offering for dealers and ought to open up more opportunities.
