Volunteer fire department in Cumberland County moves closer to rebuilding after fire

June 6, 2021, Cumberland County, N.S. –  The municipality of Cumberland County announced Friday that it had approved two tenders for the rural community of Shinimicas that would allow the volunteer fire department to rebuild its fleet. A fire in April 2020 destroyed the fire hall and three trucks that were parked inside.
