Wage increase negotiations settled for Saskatoon firefighters

Oct. 28, 2019, Saskatoon, Sask. – The City of Saskatoon and the union representing fire department employees managed to settle on terms for a four-year contract without arbitration. Firefighters and other department workers will receive five wage increases totalling 8.1 per cent over the four-year deal, which covers 2017 through to the end of next year.
