Weekend fire forces closure of university campus

Oct. 7, 2019, Vancouver – The Emily Carr University of Art and Design campus remained closed on Sunday due to a fire that broke out on Saturday morning. According to a statement issued by the Vancouver school, the “small fire” was discovered early Saturday morning but was fully extinguished and there were no injuries.
