
Canadian firefighters support Ukrainians through organization

Emergency first responders, hospital staff and aid workers are working tirelessly to save lives on the front lines and in war-impacted zones, and in many cases have become targets themselves. Personal protective equipment, medical supplies, rescue tools and hospital diagnostic and surgical equipment are needed now more than ever.
Recently, in January/February 2023, a team of firefighters and training instructors completed a mission to Ukraine to train first responders in how to treat the new civilian injuries they are seeing during the invasion. They’re planning their next training trip to Ukraine, and you can learn more about their operation here.
