Chief, firefighters disagree on budget cuts

April 14, 2016, Charlottetown - There is a worrisome difference of opinion between Charlottetown fire chief Randy MacDonald and some of his volunteer firefighters. Chief MacDonald is adamant that the safety of firefighters and city residents won’t be threatened despite a major cut in the department’s training budget. Members of his department are not so sure.
