Grant to enhance Pelham firefighters’ safety

As knowledge has evolved about the risks related to protective clothing picking up a range of highly toxic contaminants, Chief Bob Lymburner said it’s important that firefighters wash their protective clothing to remove the carcinogens that remain on it after fighting a blaze.
