The five-day event will run Sept. 13 to 17, with finals taking place on the last two days, the college said in a press release.

The Corporate Relay Challenge is expected to return. Members of Lambton’s Leadership team face-off against teams from organizations such as the Sarnia Sting and Sarnia Fire Rescue Services, while simulating tasks such as stair climbs, hose hoists from the top of the tower, forcible entries, and victim rescues.

The free to attend event is expected to feature hands-on activities for kids and adults alike, including food trucks, fire-related vendors, and a mini replica course for kids. An appearance by Paw Patrol’s fire dog Marshall is also expected.

Local breweries Refined Fool and Imperial City will host a beer garden throughout the event, with a Lambton College FireFit beer can design.
