Pyron Fire Protection joins Classic Fire + Life Safety

Nov. 7, 2023, Ottawa – Pyron Fire Protection has joined Classic Fire + Life Safety.

It is the fourth fire protection company to join Classic Fire.

The merger is expected to create an Ottawa branch, offering customers fire alarm and sprinkler products and services. All Pyron employees will continue in their existing roles and functions.

Ron Licari, recently retired founder and former president, and his nephew Ryan are expected to continue to collaborate, strategize and implement the transition to Classic Fire, with Ryan taking a lead role.

Pyron has been operating in Ottawa since 1990.

In the last 12 months, I.F. Wilson, Fire Inspection Services, Legacy Fire Protection and Photon Electrical, and Integrated Fire Protection have joined the group.
