Welland chief stumbles upon missing Guelph senior

July 15, 2019, Welland, Ont. – An 88-year-old Guelph woman who was reported missing was found in Welland Sunday. Fire Chief Brian Kennedy was off duty when he stopped to assist an elderly motorist on the side of the road on Highway 58 near the Port Colborne border, deputy fire Chief Adam Eckhart confirmed Sunday afternoon.
